The summer is coming to a close. I've started to look around for cheap, 3T sweaters. Rosie has been wearing her long-sleeve airplane shirt and is now discouraged from going in the sprinklers. Fall is coming. Dreaded winter looms in the distance. Ice, snow! Mama freezing her feet off while Rosie runs amok. I am already making plans. Apparently, Brookline, being the world's greatest town, has a town-owned indoor playspace. I don' t know if I should link to information about it. I don't want it to become too popular. Okay, I'll link to the info. Tuesdays and Thursdays starting November 14th at the Soule Recreation Center.
I ain't telling you how to get there, though!
I suppose that Rosie will be more interested in mucking about in the snow this year. I'll just have to get more warm socks and a proper thermal cup for my coffee.
I hate going outside in the cold. I am married to my husband because of this. In NYC in 2003, January 28th was bitterly cold. Avoiding a trip outside, I spent hours at my computer that night looking up things Google. I decided to find out whatever happened to that cute guy from High School. Reader, I married that cute guy.
Rosie will probably be really into winter sports and I'll have to go skiing and crap like that. I hate skiing. Maybe her Dad can take her skiing. Maybe she'll have friends that are really into skiing and their parents will take her. I'm going to work on forging those relationships now.
